How to Convert
a PowerPoint Presentation
to a DVD Presentation

1.  Start with the PowerPoint presentation.  Bring the PowerPoint presentation into the "Microsoft Powerpoint" program.

2.  Under "File" go to "Save As".

3. In the "Format" box select "JPEG".  Name the file and tell it where to save the file.

4. The PowerPoint Program will save all of the slides as "jpg".

5.  Go to your DVD program and bring in the jpg slides in to a slide show.

6.  Adjust the parameters of the slide show to allow manual advance from one slide to the next.

Note: Sometimes the order of the slides will be changed. 

7.  Double check the order of the slides.

8.  Save your presentation to a DVD or as a Disk Image. 

Note: The Disk Image is convenient because it can be used to quickly make several copies of the DVD and because it can be used to check out the presentation without using a blank DVD.

9.  Check out your presentation on a TV with a DVD player.
